Successful candidates will integrate into multinational project teams, contributing to the full project lifecycle from concept and feasibility through detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. You will apply your specialized skills within a framework that prioritizes safety, digital innovation, and environmental stewardship.

1. Engineering & Design

Discipline Engineering: Perform technical calculations, develop specifications, and create engineering designs for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems.

Digital Project Delivery: Utilize and contribute to advanced digital tools like SmartPlant, Aveva, Hexagon, and AutoCAD. Engage in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and digital twin development.

Technical Assurance: Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant international codes, client standards, and Worley’s stringent quality and safety procedures.

Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and designers to develop integrated, clash-free models and drawings.
2. Project Management & Controls

Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, identifying critical paths and potential delays.

Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast final costs.

Risk Management: Facilitate risk identification workshops and maintain risk registers to proactively mitigate project threats.

Reporting: Generate clear and concise progress reports for internal and client stakeholders, covering cost, schedule, safety, and quality metrics.
3. Procurement & Construction Support

Supplier Management: Assist in the preparation of bid packages, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document review.

Site Supervision & Coordination: For site-based roles, provide technical direction to construction contractors, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve field queries.

Candidate Profile: Qualifications & Competencies
Mandatory Technical & Professional Requirements

Education: A recognized Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering or technical discipline (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering).

Experience: Demonstrable professional experience in engineering design, project delivery, or construction within one or more of our core sectors: energy (oil & gas, renewables), chemicals, or mining/metals/resources.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard software pertinent to your discipline. Experience working in a 3D model-centric environment is highly advantageous.
