Your Role: B777-200/300 (GE90) Maintenance Operations

As an Aircraft Mechanic Contractor, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of Boeing 777-200 and 300 series aircraft. Your deep systems knowledge will be essential for ensuring these complex aircraft meet all regulatory and safety standards before returning to service.

Key Responsibilities:

Your expertise will be applied across a range of critical maintenance activities. Key duties include:

  • Line Maintenance Tasks: Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance during transit checks, including troubleshooting, defect rectification, and component changes.

  • Base Maintenance Support: Assisting with heavier checks, which may involve more extensive inspections, structural repairs, and system modifications.

  • Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Support: Responding to technical incidents that require immediate resolution to return an aircraft to service, often under time-sensitive conditions.

  • Systems Troubleshooting: Utilizing technical documentation, including the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Fault Isolation Manual (FIM), and other relevant data to diagnose and resolve complex system faults.

  • Component Installation & Removal: Competently removing and installing aircraft components, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and procedures.

  • Documentation: Accurately completing all required maintenance records, worksheets, and certification for the work you perform, ensuring full traceability and compliance with EASA/CAA regulations.


The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for seasoned aircraft mechanics who are not only experts on the B777 platform but are also reliable, safety-focused professionals who thrive in a dynamic MRO environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:

  • A Minimum of 2 Years of Recent, Hands-On Experience on the Boeing 777-200/300 aircraft, with specific knowledge of the GE90 engine.

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK: You must hold a valid passport and the necessary documentation proving your eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship for this contract role.

  • Relevant Certification: Hold a recognized aircraft maintenance license (EASA Part 66 or UK CAA) or a company approval that demonstrates your competency to certify your work. Equivalent military or OEM training may also be considered.

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and other engineering documentation.
