This role, known as Opérateur en Emballage Alimentaire or Food Packaging Operative, is central to the final stages of food production. Core Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

  • Manual Packaging & Handling: Conduct manual packing, casing, and palletizing of products where required. This includes assembling boxes, placing products into containers, and preparing finished goods for storage or shipment.

  • Quality Control & Inspection: Perform visual inspections of products, packaging materials, and final packages to ensure they meet all quality, weight, and labeling specifications. Remove any non-conforming items from the production line.

  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Adhere to the highest standards of personal and environmental hygiene. Follow strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols. Participate in daily cleaning and sanitization of workstations and equipment.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete production checklists, quality control forms, and machine logs. Report production counts, waste figures, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a shift team, coordinating with colleagues, line leaders, and quality assurance personnel to meet daily production targets efficiently and safely.
