Role Overview: Network Security Operations Specialist
We are seeking proactive and technically adept Cybersecurity Specialists to join our global Network Security Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of Fortinet security solutions for our clients. You will serve as a key technical point of contact, ensuring our security infrastructure operates at peak performance to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats. This role operates within a global, 24/7 follow-the-sun support model, requiring collaboration with international teams. You will be at the front lines of cybersecurity, gaining hands-on experience with one of the industry’s most robust and widely deployed security ecosystems.
Primary Responsibilities & Technical Focus
Your work will directly contribute to the security posture of our diverse client base. Your core duties will include:

Security Solution Implementation: Execute the deployment, configuration, and integration of Fortinet products, including FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and other Fabric components within complex customer environments.

Proactive Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor security alerts and network traffic using FortiAnalyzer and SIEM integrations. Perform log analysis and threat hunting to identify anomalous activities and potential security incidents.

Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Act as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for security incidents. Conduct root cause analysis, execute containment and remediation strategies, and provide detailed post-incident reports.

Performance Optimization & Maintenance: Perform regular system health checks, firmware updates, and policy reviews. Optimize security rule sets and device configurations to enhance performance and efficacy while maintaining operational stability.

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration guides. Share insights and solutions with the global team to elevate collective expertise.

Client & Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Fortinet’s Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and R&D teams to replicate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues. Provide clear and concise technical communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidate Profile: Required Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver with a solid foundation in network security. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Mandatory Technical Competencies:

3+ years of hands-on experience in a network security administration, security operations center (SOC), or similar technical role.

Proven expertise with Fortinet products is highly desirable, specifically practical experience with FortiGate NGFW administration, policy configuration, and CLI troubleshooting.

Strong foundational knowledge of core networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs (IPsec, SSL), Routing (BGP, OSPF), and Switching).

Experience with security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus, web filtering, and application control.

Familiarity with security monitoring tools and log analysis methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
