Detailed Role Profiles: Requirements & Expectations

For Leadership & Supervisory Roles (e.g., Toolpusher, Chief Engineer, Supervisor roles)

  • Certification & Experience: Must hold all necessary valid certifications for the position (as per flag state and IMO requirements where applicable). Typically requires 7+ years of offshore experience with proven leadership in a similar role.

  • Responsibilities: Directly manage a team, oversee critical operations, make real-time decisions, and serve as the primary point of technical authority in your discipline. Responsible for planning, crew competency, and interfacing with client representatives.

For Technical & Skilled Trades Roles (e.g., Electrician, Electronic Technician, Mechanic)

  • Certification & Experience: Required trade certifications, diplomas, or completed apprenticeships. 3+ years of direct offshore experience on drilling rigs or similar heavy industrial environments is strongly preferred.

  • Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, ensure equipment readiness, and support continuous operations. A strong focus on technical precision and procedural adherence is essential.

For Onshore Support & Specialist Roles (e.g., Supply Chain Manager, BI Developer, Auditor)

  • Experience: These roles typically support the fleet from a home office or regional center. They require relevant 5+ years of industry-specific experience in the discipline (e.g., maritime supply chain, drilling data systems, internal audit for O&G).

  • Responsibilities: Provide vital expertise, analysis, and management to optimize fleet performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making. May involve periodic visits to offshore units or other company offices.

Universal Requirements for All Offshore Rotational Candidates:

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol screening, and physical fitness assessment.

  • Valid offshore survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, HUET, STCW) or willingness to obtain immediately.

  • Right to work in the country of the assigned home base or as required for visa sponsorship for specific rig assignments.

  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Resilience and adaptability to live and work in a confined, remote environment for the duration of your rotation.
