The Opportunity: Join a Coordinated Project Team

This is a unique opportunity to join a large, coordinated project with defined roles and responsibilities. Positions are available across all major departments, offering stability for the project duration with potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs. The project operates on a schedule that may include rotations (e.g., 14 days on/7 days off) for site-based roles, with camp accommodations and travel provided where applicable.

Project roles are categorized into key streams:

  • Engineering & Technical Supervision: Site Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Supervisors, Foremen, and QC Inspectors.

  • Skilled Trades & Construction: Welders (3G, 4G, 5G, TIG), Pipefitters, Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC Technicians, Fabricators, and Riggers.

  • Plant Operations & Maintenance: Power Operators, Machine Operators (CNC/VMC), Mill Operators, and Instrument Technicians.

  • Equipment & Logistics: Heavy Equipment Operators, Heavy/Light Drivers, Delivery Drivers, and Forklift Operators.

  • Administration & Support: Safety Officers, Storekeepers, Timekeepers, Reception, Customer Service, and Helpers.

  • Management & Professional Services: IT Manager, Financial Manager, Sales & Marketing Managers, Database Administrators, and Software Developers.

Key Responsibilities: Role-Specific Excellence

General expectations for all site personnel include an unwavering commitment to safety and procedural compliance. Specific duties will be detailed upon hiring for the exact position, but core requirements include:

  • Universal Safety Mandate: Adhere to all company and site-specific safety protocols, including PPE requirements, hazard assessments, and emergency procedures. Safety is the absolute priority.

  • Technical Execution: Perform your designated trade or professional duties to the highest standards of quality and in accordance with all relevant codes, specifications, and project schedules.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a large, multidisciplinary team, communicating clearly with supervisors, peers, and other trades.

  • Productivity & Accountability: Maintain a high level of productivity, manage your tools and materials responsibly, and complete required documentation (timesheets, work reports, inspection cards) accurately.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify issues or deviations from plan and report them promptly to your supervisor to facilitate timely resolution.

Candidate Profile: Qualified and Ready Professionals

We are seeking individuals with verified credentials and proven experience in their respective fields. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug/alcohol screening is mandatory for all site positions.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid credentials for the specific role applied for (e.g., Provincial Trade Certification for Electricians, Welder tickets with required positions, Professional Engineer license, valid driver’s license with appropriate class).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related experience in an industrial or construction setting.

  • Physical fitness to perform the job duties, which may include working in all weather conditions, lifting, standing for long periods, and wearing required PPE.

  • Eligibility to work in Canada. For select, hard-to-fill roles, the company may consider sponsoring a work permit for exceptionally qualified international candidates, subject to LMIA approval.

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Previous experience working in a camp or remote project setting.

  • Additional safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid).

  • Experience with the specific industry sector (e.g., mining, oil sands, heavy manufacturing).
