Your primary mission will be to:

Ensure Platform Health and Performance: Proactively monitor and manage all Power Platform components to guarantee high availability and a seamless user experience, directly impacting productivity and business continuity.

Implement Proactive Observability: Move beyond reactive support by building a comprehensive observability framework that provides deep insights into system behavior, allowing you to identify and resolve issues before they affect users.

1. Platform Management and Monitoring (30%)

Monitor & manage the health, performance, and capacity of all Power Platform environments (Development, Test, Production).

Configure and maintain observability solutions using Azure Monitor, KQL, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to create a unified view of platform health.

Establish and refine dashboards and alerting rules to provide real-time insights and proactive notifications on potential issues.
2. Incident and Problem Management (30%)

Serve as a key point of escalation for complex technical issues, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents.

Participate in the formal incident management process, coordinating responses and communications during critical system events.

Lead and document thorough post-incident reviews, ensuring that permanent corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.

Participate in a structured after-hours on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for business-critical systems.
3. Collaboration and Process Improvement (20%)

Collaborate with Development teams to establish operational readiness criteria for new applications and ensure best practices are followed.

Work with Infrastructure teams to manage underlying Azure resources (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps) that support Power Platform solutions.

4. Strategic Platform Development (20%)

Drive Microsoft Fabric adoption for advanced analytics, data governance, and scalable data pipelines integrated with the Power Platform.

Develop and maintain scripting and automation (using Python, Azure CLI, or PowerShell) to streamline operational tasks, such as environment provisioning, user management, and report generation.

Contribute to the platform’s long-term governance and scalability strategy, establishing guardrails and policies that enable safe and efficient innovation.

Required Technical Qualifications & Hard Skills:

4–7 years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting the Microsoft Power Platform, including deep knowledge of:

Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)

Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows)

Power BI (data modeling, reporting, and administration)

Power Pages

3–5 years of direct experience in production/operational support roles, with a proven track record of managing and troubleshooting live business applications.

Strong expertise in observability, including designing and implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.

Hands-on experience with Azure monitoring tools, including writing KQL (Kusto Query Language) queries, configuring Azure Monitor, and utilizing Application Insights and the Power Platform Admin Center.

Proficiency in scripting and automation with languages such as Python or Azure CLI to automate repetitive operational tasks.

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric integration with the Power Platform for governance, data analytics, and scalability.

Experience with the broader Azure full stack ecosystem, including App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Data Services.
Preferred Credentials:
