Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power), Instrumentation, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or operations will be strongly considered.

  • For operational roles: Proven experience in the operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of industrial systems (e.g., turbines, boilers, generators, high-voltage equipment, SCADA systems).

  • A demonstrated, uncompromising commitment to workplace safety and procedural adherence.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

  • Eligibility to work in Canada or the United States, depending on the role location.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Direct Power Industry Experience: Previous work in power generation (thermal, wind, solar) or a closely related field such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, or pulp & paper.

  • Specific Certifications: Relevant trade tickets (e.g., Electrician, Millwright, Instrumentation Technician), Power Engineering certification (e.g., 4th Class or higher in Canada), or other industry-specific credentials.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS like SAP), industrial control systems, and predictive maintenance technologies.

  • Adaptability & Initiative: The ability to adapt to changing priorities, learn new technologies, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
