This contract position, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, offers a unique opportunity to work with Infosys in support of a significant project for Citizens Bank. We are seeking a skilled and certified Collibra Administrator to take ownership of the platform, ensuring its stability, security, and alignment with stringent data governance policies. Position Overview: Your Mission as a Collibra Administrator

As the Collibra Administrator, you will be the operational linchpin for the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the platform is running optimally, securely, and in direct support of the bank’s data governance initiatives. You will move beyond basic maintenance to actively configure, customize, and integrate the platform, making it a powerful engine for data discovery, lineage, and policy enforcement.

This is a technical, hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of the Collibra ecosystem, coupled with relevant database expertise. You will serve as a vital bridge between the technical infrastructure and the business users—data stewards, analysts, and governance teams—who rely on Collibra daily.

  • Client: Citizens Bank (via Infosys)

  • Position: Collibra Administrator

  • Location: Raleigh, NC (Relocation is acceptable for the right candidate)

  • Duration & Rate: Contract, $60/hr

  • Visa Status: We are unable to sponsor for this role. All visa types are acceptable except for OPT and CPT.


A Detailed Breakdown of Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will be diverse, focusing on both the technical health of the platform and its strategic value to the organization. You will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

Platform Management & Administration:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud platform to meet evolving business requirements.

  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions through robust security models, ensuring the principle of least privilege is enforced.

  • Implement and support complex workflows, integrations, and customizations to automate data governance processes.

  • Monitor platform performance meticulously, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Schedule and execute platform upgrades and apply patches in a controlled manner to maintain system currency and security.

Data Governance & Business Support:

  • Partner directly with data governance and stewardship teams to translate business policies and standards into technical configurations within Collibra.

  • Support comprehensive data cataloging, metadata management, and business lineage setup, providing clear visibility into data assets from source to consumption.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related issues, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution to minimize downtime and user impact.

  • Develop and deliver user training, support, and onboarding materials for both business and technical users, empowering them to use Collibra effectively.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Meticulously document all administration processes, system configurations, and change management activities. This ensures knowledge retention and audit readiness.

  • Maintain a clear record of integrations and customizations for future reference and support.


The Essential Skillset: What You Need to Succeed

This role demands a specific combination of platform expertise and foundational database knowledge. The following are the non-negotiable, must-have skills required for consideration.

Mandatory Technical Qualifications:

  1. Collibra Administration Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in administering the Collibra platform. You must be proficient in the core administrative functions outlined in the responsibilities above.

  2. Collibra Ranger Certification: A current and valid Collibra Ranger certification is mandatory. This certification demonstrates a verified, professional level of competency in managing the platform.

  3. Database Proficiency: Significant professional experience with either Netezza or Db2. You must understand database structures, connectivity, and how these systems integrate with a metadata management tool like Collibra.
