Position Overview: Certified Welder for International Recruitment
We are recruiting experienced, certified Welders for immediate placement across our operations in Finland. This position involves performing high-quality welding operations on various metals and alloys according to technical drawings, specifications, and stringent quality standards. Successful candidates will join project teams working on diverse assignments including shipbuilding components, bridge construction elements, industrial machinery fabrication, and energy sector installations. Key Responsibilities & Technical Requirements
Primary Welding Duties:

Execute shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and tungsten inert gas welding (GTAW/TIG) processes according to project specifications

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)

Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, and fitting using various tools and equipment

Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed welds, identifying and correcting defects

Adhere strictly to safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ventilation systems, and hazardous material handling

Maintain equipment, work areas, and tools in clean, safe, and operational condition

Collaborate with fabrication teams, supervisors, and quality control inspectors
Technical & Certification Requirements:

Valid International Welding Certification (ISO 9606, AWS, or equivalent national certification)

Minimum 3 years professional welding experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments

Proficiency in at least two major welding processes with demonstrable skill portfolio

Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials

Ability to pass practical welding tests and theoretical knowledge assessments

Understanding of welding symbols, metallurgy basics, and distortion control techniques

Willingness to obtain Finnish welding certification during probationary period
