Role Overview: Associate in Finance & Business Management
We are seeking strategic and analytically driven Associates to join our Global Finance & Business Management teams across our major lines of business. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key partner to our business leaders, providing critical financial insights, managing business performance, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, control, and operational efficiency. Core Responsibilities & Strategic Impact
Your work will directly support the financial health and strategic direction of one of our business units (e.g., Corporate & Investment Bank, Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial Banking, Asset & Wealth Management). Your key responsibilities will include:

Financial Analysis & Performance Management: Conduct in-depth financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Develop management reports and dashboards that provide clear visibility into business performance against key financial metrics (P&L, balance sheet, capital, etc.).

Business Planning & Strategy Support: Partner with business leads to develop and evaluate strategic plans, investment proposals, and new business initiatives. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making on resource allocation, product development, and market opportunities.

Expense Management & Operational Efficiency: Analyze and manage divisional expenses. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements, working with teams to implement sustainable solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

Risk & Control Oversight: Participate in the control environment by supporting key financial controls, reporting processes, and regulatory requirements. Help ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.

Stakeholder Communication & Presentation: Synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise, and compelling presentations for senior management, including business reviews, board materials, and investment committee packs.

Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects related to finance transformation, system implementations, and other strategic business management initiatives.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent, relevant professional experience (typically 3-5 years).

Proven experience in financial analysis, management consulting, investment banking, or a related business management role within a complex, global organization.

Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, build financial models, and draw actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work with attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with a keen interest in financial markets, banking products, and economic trends.
