Role Overview: Associate in Finance & Business Management

We are seeking strategic and analytically driven Associates to join our Global Finance & Business Management teams across our major lines of business. Core Responsibilities & Strategic Impact

Your work will directly support the financial health and strategic direction of one of our business units (e.g., Corporate & Investment Bank, Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial Banking, Asset & Wealth Management). Your key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Analysis & Performance Management: Conduct in-depth financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Develop management reports and dashboards that provide clear visibility into business performance against key financial metrics (P&L, balance sheet, capital, etc.).

• Business Planning & Strategy Support: Partner with business leads to develop and evaluate strategic plans, investment proposals, and new business initiatives. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making on resource allocation, product development, and market opportunities.

• Expense Management & Operational Efficiency: Analyze and manage divisional expenses. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements, working with teams to implement sustainable solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

• Risk & Control Oversight: Participate in the control environment by supporting key financial controls, reporting processes, and regulatory requirements. Help ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.

• Stakeholder Communication & Presentation: Synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise, and compelling presentations for senior management, including business reviews, board materials, and investment committee packs.

• Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects related to finance transformation, system implementations, and other strategic business management initiatives.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent, relevant professional experience (typically 3-5 years).

• Proven experience in financial analysis, management consulting, investment banking, or a related business management role within a complex, global organization.

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, build financial models, and draw actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work with attention to detail under tight deadlines.

• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with a keen interest in financial markets, banking products, and economic trends.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from peers to senior executives.
