Position Overview: Your Strategic Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and market expansion for Genetec’s suite of security and operational solutions. This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy, managing key accounts, and forging partnerships with system integrators and consultants. Your mission will be to position Genetec as the undisputed technology leader within your assigned territory, translating complex customer challenges into tailored solutions that deliver exceptional value.
This is a field-based position with a significant focus on building relationships and strategic selling. You will act as the face of Genetec in the region, requiring a blend of technical acumen and executive-level business development skills.
Key Responsibilities & Impact Areas
In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to grow our presence and market share. Your core responsibilities will include:

Strategic Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across the public and private sectors. You will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.

Territory & Account Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan. Take full ownership of existing key accounts while proactively hunting for new logos. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.

Channel & Partner Ecosystem Management: Cultivate and manage strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our network of authorized security system integrators, distributors, and technology alliance partners. Provide them with the training, tools, and support needed to successfully position and sell Genetec solutions.

Solution Selling & Technical Collaboration: Conduct in-depth needs analysis with clients, including C-level executives and security directors. You will collaborate closely with our Solutions Architects and Systems Engineering teams to design and propose sophisticated, integrated solutions that address critical customer pain points.

Market Intelligence & Strategy: Serve as the “voice of the region” by providing insights on competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform product and marketing strategies.

Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely forecasting in our CRM system (Salesforce) and provide regular activity reports to senior sales leadership.
Who You Are: Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive, results-oriented professional who thrives in an autonomous, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

A proven track record of 5+ years in B2B enterprise sales, preferably within the physical security, software, IT infrastructure, or related technology sectors.

Demonstrated experience in hunting for new business and managing complex sales cycles with deal sizes often exceeding six figures.

Strong existing network and experience working with or managing a channel sales model (distributors, system integrators, VARs).

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business decision-makers.

Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and a data-driven, quota-carrying mindset.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (approximately 50-60%).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Highly Desirable Assets:

Direct experience selling video surveillance (VMS), access control, or physical security information management (PSIM) solutions.

Experience in one or more of Genetec’s key verticals: Critical Infrastructure, Transportation, Retail, Government, or Enterprise.

Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.

Bilingual or multilingual capabilities relevant to the regional territory.
