Detailed Role Responsibilities and Daily Operations
As an Automotive Glass Technician with Belron Canada, your primary mission is to perform safe, efficient, and high-quality vehicle glass repairs and replacements. Your typical duties will encompass:
Technical Service Execution:

Perform windshield and auto glass replacements on a wide variety of makes and models, from passenger vehicles to commercial trucks.

Conduct windshield repair procedures using state-of-the-art resin injection systems.

Handle advanced automotive technologies, including recalibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warnings, automatic emergency braking, and rain sensors post-installation.

Adhere to strict company and manufacturer procedures to ensure a perfect, safe, and water-tight installation every time.
Customer Service & Communication:

Interact directly with customers in our service centers or at their location (for mobile technicians), providing clear explanations of the service process.

Accurately complete digital work orders and documentation on company-provided tablets.
Workshop & Vehicle Stewardship:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the bay or mobile service vehicle.

Properly handle and dispose of glass and other materials.

Conduct basic vehicle inspections related to glass and surrounding moldings.

Manage inventory of glass and supplies in the service vehicle or bay.
