Your Mission: Be the Architect of Payment Innovation
As our new Business Analyst specializing in Payments, you will be the vital link between our business objectives and our technological execution. Your core mission will be to analyze, define, and translate the complex needs of our payment systems into actionable requirements that our development teams can build upon. You won’t just be writing tickets; you’ll be architecting solutions that enhance how millions of users move money.
A Day in the Life: What You’ll Actually Do
Your responsibilities will be diverse, strategic, and crucial to our projects. You will:

Lead Discovery & Elicitation: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to gather and understand business requirements for payment functionalities (e.g., wire transfers, ACH, real-time payments, card processing).

Analyze & Specify: Perform detailed business and systems analysis to identify gaps, define scope, and create clear, concise, and comprehensive functional requirement documents (FRDs) and user stories.

Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary translator between business stakeholders and the software development team, ensuring technical solutions perfectly align with business needs.

Model Processes: Develop and optimize business process models, use cases, and data flow diagrams specific to payment ecosystems, identifying opportunities for efficiency and security improvements.

Validate & Verify: Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the final product meets all defined requirements and is flawless upon deployment.

Manage & Communicate: Proactively manage requirements traceability and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to project leadership and stakeholders.
The Non-Negotiable: Your Qualifications
We are looking for a proven professional who can hit the ground running. To be successful, you must possess:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

A solid 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the digital banking or financial technology sector.

Direct, hands-on experience working on Payment systems. This is non-negotiable. Your expertise should include deep knowledge of one or more of the following:

Domestic and International Wire Transfers (e.g., Fedwire, SWIFT)

Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments
-
Real-Time Payment (RTP) networks
-
Card networks and processing (Visa, Mastercard)

Digital Wallets and P2P Payment systems

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process complex information and distill it into clear, actionable insights.

Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to facilitate meetings and present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
